#DayoSerye: Dreamers sweep competition in tune up games 4-0

With the PSL (Pilipinas SuperLeague) 21U in their sights, the Davao Occidental Dreamers scheduled tune up games all over the Davao Region to prepare for their upcoming games in Cebu City.

Dreamers vs Tagum Selection

Christian Paul Malano and Raine Maga provided the offensive spark for the Dreamers, tallying 20 and 16 points respectively as they clawed back from a first half deficit to claim their first win against the Tagum Selection, 102-93.

Jude Paolo Bagay, Finals MVP of the recent Liga Dabaw games, reinforced the team’s inside presence with a double-double (15 pts, 11 rebs).

Dreamers vs. John Paul Davao

The Dreamers again used a 72-40 second half surge, blowing away John Paul Davao in the last two frames to seal a dominant 137-86 victory in a total team effort performance.

Raine Maga paced all scorers with 19 markers with Mark Justine Maggay and Julius Olivar chipping in 12 points each.

Dreamers vs. Monkayo Selection

A dominant 35-14 first quarter from the Dreamers which featured suffocating defense and an efficient offense put the game out of reach early, ending in a 120-73 third straight win.

The big men duo of Reymark Narbasa (12 pts, 10 rebs) and Limuel Tampus (16 pts, 6 rebs) gave the team the stabilizing presence in the paint.

Dreamers vs. Lupon ZMC Printline

The Dreamers finished their Davao region Dayoserye in a dominating fashion, posting a 122-78 triumph over the Lupon ZMC Printline to go 4-0 in their exhibition games.

Six players got double digits territory in a team effort that saw the lead balloon to as much as 47 points. Raine Maga led all scorers with 16 points while team captain Ion Angeles stuffed the stat sheet with 11 points, six rebounds, six assists, and five steals.

Catch the Dreamers this July 7 as they match up against the PLS 21U defending champs Consolacion Sarok Weavers.
